I suppose that one of these days we'll have a disappointing night at the Duke - this, however was not that night!
We've been laid up for the early part of this year with a bit of illness and luxury holidays in the South of France so several of us were a little nervous with a few new songs to try out. As ever our friends at the Duke gave us a marvellous welcome and it felt as though we'd never been away.
Special mention should be made of the fact that Mark and Mandy were celebrating their first year at the Duke and free nibbles and drinks were available. Congratulations also to Tracey and Bev who were celebrating their birthdays. As it happens it was our Tracey's birthday last Monday so a few of her family and friends were able to get along as well.
