Picture the scene - it's 8:55 at The Blueberry and the pub's all but empty. We go on at about 9:10 and people start coming in. One lady in particular who probably shouldn't be out on her own starts the dancing after the first couple of songs quickly joined by a few more, then more, then more. Then she takes to the stage and starts hugging me - at which point security steps in and we carry on (and she's carried out). By the end of the first set there's lots of folks enjoying the evening.
I know I've probably said it before but this has to be one of our best pub gigs ever. A proper crowd of people (most of whom we'd never seen before) and a fabulous response.
Thanks you guys - you're a credit to the Norwich live music scene.
