Beaver's Retreat, Snettisham
A first for Chibber. We've never been to Snettisham before. Beaver's Retreat (formerly The Diglea Caravan Park) has a rather
splendid club house which was filling up when we arrived. This was what you might call a slow-burner. The response was very
polite and we were made to feel very welcome but, at first, there were only a few brave souls who made it onto the dance-floor.
Rather unexpectedly, the turning point appeared to be "Angels". After that the joint started jumping (that's what they used
to say in Roger's day) - in real English, it started to get pretty lively.Thanks to the folks down the front from Leicester
for their lovely comments. Perhaps see you again soon.
